Anyone have some tips on getting a snow day?

We're expecting 1-3 inches of snow here, but that's a lot of snow for where I live and we have lots of hills so the driving conditions can get bad. Everyone's expecting a snow day. I heard of a few of those little good luck charms to get a snow day, the turning your pj's inside out and putting a spoon under your pillow. Just for the fun of it, what are some more? Thanks!
