I need help with a real life math problem?
I'm making a wedding quilt for my semester school project. The quilt will be 65" x 88" inches. I want to use about 4 horizontal blocks and about 6 vertical blocks. This quilt will also have about a 1 inch border around the edge of the quilt (includes the back and front of the quilt). I'm not sure if the amount of blocks that I want to use will work? How do I measure out how much each block should be? Some of the blocks in my quilt will have a photo. Other blocks will just be plain fabric. How do I solve this real life math problem? I always forget how to do certain math problems when it comes to measuring. Thank you so much! :)
