What does this page say about those who know their God?

One interpretation is that this refers to Antiochus Epiphanes. Dr. John Phillips in his book "Exploring the Future", tells of a Roman diplomat who spoke to Antiochus about, well, leaving the area. Antiochus said he would give an answer (but didn't say when!) The Roman drew a circle around Antiochus and said, "Before you step out of that circle, give me an answer for me to tell the Senate". Antiochus knew he had been outfoxed and said, "If it please the Senate to depart, we will depart". He then went straight for Israel and put on a circa-165 BC version of the Holocaust. The Maccabees came along and got things straightened out a few years later. Fascinating story.
