How do I let him know I want to get married?

If he feels pressured into it he might back way down. Just go with the flow and you already know he loves you very much. Patience is key. Eventually he will ask. I know if I was feeling pressured I would be having a lot of second thoughts. I don't like to be rushed into something as serious as committing to someone forever.
