Why is everybody forgetting who Saddam is and what he did?

Man we have become soft as a country, back in the pre-vietnam days there would be no sympathy for a man who d peoples wives at a whim, had people shot and then charged the family for the bullet, ged thousands of citizens to quiet them, planned to asinate a US president, started wars with his neighbors kuwait and Iran, wanted nuclear and bioliogical chemical weapons, and although not proven planned to blow up world trade center, I mean come on people, open your eyes, Saddam was a bad man, history will remember him as a evil tyrant. So why is there such outcry for an evil tyrant? I think these people just hate america and should leave on the first flight out.
