Has anybody else realized?

Here's the problem I have with your statistic. It wasn't the LDS church, but rather, members of that church. The Corporation of the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, never contributed once cent to Prop 8. If they had, THEN, the church as a whole would have contributed. What INDIVIDUAL Mormon members decide to throw their money at is their business. Here's another statistic for you. Only about 4% of the entire population of California is LDS. So only about 2 % actually voted. How then did Prop 8 fail? wasn't there enough people to vote for it who weren't LDS? More than just the Mormons feel that same marriages are wrong. Bring up the statistics for the other denominations that contributed. Be fair in your judgment and don't lay it strictly at the feet of the Mormons. We were a VERY SMALL part of the whole thing.
