Have dogs and earwigs!!!help?!??!?

I am not sure if the heat is a problem but all of a sudden I have alot of earwigs by my back door crawling in ewww!! I have three dogs is there something I can spray back there that won't hurt them. That is the door to the backyard where they go potty so we can't avoid it thanx
