How to clean my purse?

I have a nice grey Roxy purse, I'm not quite sure what the material is, it's kind of like fake leather.On the outside of the purse I got a streak of ballpoint pen ink on it and faint blue smudges on the other side (not sure how this happened, could possibly be from jeans) anyone know how to get rid of these stains without ruining the purse?? Thanks for your help
