Is it right to think this ?

Is it right to think that being in a relationship is a waste of time?( I'm 16, so for now) I mean in the end it'll be over after all the heartache and problems someone would go through. I feel it just doesn't make sense! Why should I be in a relationship with someone if I know that it will be over sooner or later or even after many years! I do like someone and I wish I could have him but then again I think about this ...
